#Mummymakeover 27 October - 10 November

Ooh I'm so happy, I've been so good and walked LOTS  and stopped buying post school run chocolate to scoff in secret. And I've lost a whopping 5lb!! FIVE I tell you! Hold your hand up and wiggle your fingers, that my friends is how many pounds have gone.

I'm over the moon and I'm going to try even harder over the next two weeks!

Wish me luck ...,

Today She Walked 19 September

Today my Termite looked her Daddy straight in the eyes, smiled let go of me and walked unaided across the room, she then walked back and forwards across the same space for at least 40 minutes!

She is strong and clever and amazing ...

I will save telling you about my bittersweet joy and sadness about the speed at which she is growing  for another post, for now, I'd like you all to just see how brilliant my youngest girl really is!

Tales of The Termite - 10 months

I have had such a busy month, no more new teeth this month but I'm getting lots of pain so I think there's going to be more soon.

I've been on my second holiday this time to Egypt, you can read about it here.

I can now walk along furniture holding on with just one hand and I can move from one piece to another even if I have to reach out for it, I can climb on the sofa too!

I've perfected my hi five, I can say hiya and wave at new people without being asked and when mammy says 'good girl' I clap and she thinks it's dead cute even though I've been able to do the clapping thing for ages. I love to dance still and I can make loads of noises too, peanut likes to copy me but mammy tells her she should be using her words so I can learn them.

I like to nod in agreement with mammy and daddy.  I have also learned to sign 'birdie' (that's those feathery things in the sky that I love) and 'daddy' which has pleased the daddy one no end , he's such a softie. I've also taken a shine to mammy's phone and look I can take a 'selfie'

We've used loads of stuff this month our favourites have been The Munchkin Inflatable Duck Bath, Vtech Baby Walker, Lindam Play Pen,

Woe is Me

I'm tired, I'm run down, my house is never tidy, I don't have any time oh boo hoo hoo. I've decided I need a kick up the bum.

So this week with the advent of blue skies and bright crisp days, I have made some changes..

Vegetables
We have veg every day anyway but I have quadrupled my veg intake by hiding it in lovely dishes and making lush meals we've made a rather succesful Coleslaw, our first ever attempt at Bubble and squeak (some improvement needed but a good try)

Exercise

I've made more excuses than I care to reveal but it all boils down to this the hardest part about doing excercise is STARTING it, so we have attended Mamalates for the first time this week, which is a free mother and baby  pilates class provided by a local pre and post natal wellbeing scheme.

I have also walked, and walked and walked! I can really feel the difference in my energy levels

Me
Now before I type this please note I DO NOT THINK WOMEN NEED MAKEUP TO FEEL GOOD, but I personally feel better with a touch of tinted moisturiser and a slick of lipstick so I have made an effort to do this every morning. I have to say I must normally look like a bag of spanners because I've had more compliments this week than you can shake a stick at!

I feel much more motivated, slightly pained from the Pilates, but overall very positive.

So my goal for March is to shed some more pounds, stick to my lent sacrifices(chocolate sweets and cakes) keep up the Pilates, and get a bike...... Watch this space for my cycling adventures
