Need A Little Help 5-6 April

Need a Little Help is a deeply moving and joyfully uplifting piece of interactive and physical theatre from award winning ensemble Tangled Feet, working in partnership with children’s theatre specialists, Half Moon. A unique experience for 3-7 year olds and their families.
Oliver
Following the success of their award winning production of the musical Hairspray, West End Operatic Society are back and this time with the well-loved family classic Oliver! Set in Victorian London with memorable characters such as Fagin and the Artful Dodger, the story takes the audience on a journey through Oliver’s adventures and mishaps.
A Host of Easter activities will be held at Beamish including egg hunts, egg rolling and jarping?! Beamish is always and amazing day out and the staff are a great source of information and so approachable and friendly. Last time we went we were shown a gas explosion demonstration!
My three love a visit to Belsay and its especially brilliant when there are special events on, this Easter there will be an Easter Quest where you can meet characters from the past and crack the clues on an historic hunt as you explore the magical gardens, hall and castle
Seven Stories 25 March - 10 April
The Easter Holidays are your last chance to see the Illustrating Harry Potter Exhibition and there are loads of activities going on If you know your Hungarian Horntails from your Swedish Short-Snouts, join in with hunt the dragon egg trails and story times followed by a fierce round of Dragon Bingo. There are Maisy activities and themed stories and also Children ages 8+ are invited to take part in a How to decorate your dragon egg workshop. All the family can meet not one but two authors - Viviane Schwarz and Andy Griffiths - over the Easter Holidays and everyone is welcome to celebrate Maisy's birthday with story times and themed activities in the Studio.

Come inside the NEW Brain Zone where you can find out how scientists explore the brain’s inner workings. You can also enjoy the planetarium, SpongeBob SquarePants on the 4D Motion Ride** and Experiment Zone. Don't forget to check out Robot too. The exhibition features over 40 robot models, cyborgs and androids - full size models, heads and toys - from TV shows and films from the past 60 years.
Get crafty in our Making Space - and it wouldn’t be Easter without Life’s chocolate workshops (Good Friday to Easter Monday only) where you’ll get to make your own chocolate and take the taste test – how well do you know your dark from your milk and your white chocolate?
*Chocolate Workshops run from 25 - 28 March and are subject to availability.
**For safety reasons, you must be at least 1.2 metres in height to use the 4D Motion Ride.
