I'm sure you've seen the article that's been making the rounds about the dangers of covering baby while they are in the pram? A study Undertaken by a Swedish newspaper has declared that using a blanket/towel/sheet etc to shade baby from the sun can be very dangerous as there's no ventilation so temperatures can increase very quickly.
With this in mind it's always best and safest to choose a method of shading that is specifically designed for that task. Snooze Shade offers a range of products which have been tested to offer safe reliable sun protection for pushchairs and car seats.
After chatting with the lovely SnoozeShade crew about the safest way to shade in a pushchair and we decided I should test out the Snooze Shade Plus Deluxe. I spent a lot of time at the allotment and Termite spends most of her time there napping!
This works out fab for both of us as I get lots done, she gets a nice sleep and lots of fresh air too. There are lots of bugs though and at the moment lots of sun too! So the shade has really come into its own for us. It keeps out 80% UV with outer panel open meaning baby can still see out or you can close the outer panel for almost total darkness free from distraction.
I love that it's almost completely universal which for us means it fits on the Stokke Xplory, if you've ever had an Xplory you will know that 'universal fit' usually means absolutely nothing because of the shape of the pram and position of the chassis. With the snooze shade though a little adjustment gives great coverage and an almost perfect fit.
I love that I don't need to unpeel any Velcro (could anything be noisier around a sleeping child) to check in my little termite. I can just slide the silent zip down and et voila!
The shade offers almost total darkness when completely closed or you can have the front panel part open for shade but still with visibility or both panels open.
I think thisis a great investment for holidays, days out and even a bit of extra winter protection
The lovely SnoozeShade Team have offered use Deluxe Plus to give away so just enter via the rafflecopter below and we will draw a winner
